On Retroarch these games have over-sensitive movement making them very hard to play. There are a few shortcomings to note about this method of emulation and they come down to games that would use the 5000’s analog input. In this video, I am going to be covering Atari 5200 emulation through Retroarch. Playing 5200 games can be a real treat however and thanks to emulation we can do so on a variety of new machines. The system would find relatively low success and as such has faded into relative obscurity compared to its predecessors. It is in essence an Atari 8-Bit computer but not an Atari 8-Bit computer.
